WHAT MAKES TAREE CARAVANS SO DIFFERENT ?

When you walk into Taree Caravans tidy yard, the first thing you notice is the presentation of all the caravans on display. Apart from the immaculate looking new vans, the used vans are prepared and detailed to an extremely high and impressive standard. All vans must pass an exhaustive and thorough inspection, where every detail is checked. From chassis, brakes, bearings, lights, to internal workings of fridge, stove, water pump, etc, every item is checked for operation and anything found not to be working or not to standard is repaired or replaced. Dealer Principal, George Ladas has adopted the philosophy when buying stock, of rejected the rest and only buying the best ! George says he buys on average 1 in 10 vans he looks at, and after 20 years in the trade, knows exactly what to look for. He buys the best so you end up with the best possible caravan experience. Thats why repeat buyers keep coming back, George says he has customers who have bought up to 5 times from him and travel as far North as Cairns, West as Dubbo, and South as far as Melbourne.

Andrew Ladas is the Manager and heads the sales team and has been in the family business for over 5 years. Andrew's passion is custom building and making sure the customer gets what they want in a caravan. Andrew has really put the emphasis on family, having grown up with a caravan and camping orientated family, has ventured on many caravan holidays and brings much experience and enthusiasm to the sales team. Andrew recently built a caravan of his own, and is often caravaning with his beautiful wife Casey, both enjoy the caravanning lifestyle.

Andrew started in our workshop and has been trained in all aspects of caravan construction, repairs and warranty, Andrew has first hand knowledge of all aspects of caravan maintenance and looks forward to helping you with any requirements or advise that you may need for your next caravan purchase or holiday.

LOCATION

Located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, approximately 180km north of Newcastle, Taree Caravans is a convenient stop between Sydney and Brisbane. A north and south highway bypass entry provides easy access from what ever direction you are coming from. Taree, in the Manning Valley, is a very pleasant town offering tourists a quiet and picturesque stop where you can take advantage of one of the many parks and gardens along the Manning River. Taree's surrounding towns offer some of the best beaches and rivers on the north coast, (plenty of great fishing spots) also its more country towns have some of the most beautiful lookouts to view the Manning Valley. The town boasts a wide variety of shops and restaurants, including : Big W, Target, Harvey Norman, Bunnings, Mitre 10, Woolworths, Coles , Bi-Lo, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway, Hungry Jacks, and many specialty café bars featuring alfresco dining in and around the towns CBD.

HISTORY

Taree Caravans is the longest serving caravan sales yard in the area, having commenced operations in 1989. The directors of the business, George and Beth Ladas, pride themselves in owning a family business that strives to provide good old fashioned service without the hard sales pressure of larger metropolitan yards. You are free to walk around at your leisure, ( without a pushy salesman ) and view all the immaculately presented caravans on display.
